The visit typically takes 60 to 90 minutes depending on the size of your kitchen and how many questions you have.
We start by walking your kitchen with you. We want to understand what bothers you about your current setup — what doesn't work, what's missing, what you wish you had. This conversation shapes the entire design.
Common things we hear: not enough storage, poor corner cabinet access, no pantry, too many upper cabinets and not enough counter space, drawers that don't close properly, a layout that doesn't match how the family actually uses the kitchen.
We take detailed measurements of every wall, window, door, and appliance space. We note ceiling height, electrical outlet locations, plumbing positions, and any structural elements that affect cabinet placement. This takes 20 to 30 minutes and is the foundation of an accurate design.
We talk through the four cabinet lines we carry — Forevermark, Jim Bishop, Kraftsman, and Marsh — and what each one offers at its price point. We ask about your budget range and give you honest guidance on what's achievable. No upselling, no pressure to go beyond what makes sense for your project.
After the consultation, we build a full 3D rendering of your proposed kitchen design. You receive this within a few business days by email. The rendering shows your kitchen from multiple angles with your chosen cabinet style, color, and layout.
You review it, tell us what you'd like to change, and we revise. Most homeowners are happy after one or two rounds. There's no charge for the design and no obligation to move forward.
Once the design is finalized, we provide a detailed written quote. It includes cabinets, hardware, tear-out, haul-away, and installation — everything. No hidden line items added later.
